In my last post, I said that in Brazil I’d maybe be without Internet for up to a week. Well, as it happened, I had Internet but it was just so goddamn slow that it was basically unusable.

Download speed was an absolutely pathetic 20-100 kbps using one of these 3G mini-modems. Not only that but the drivers only work in Windows. So I couldn’t use my Linux machine for two months. Now, that’s cruel.

In any event I’m back home and my 7 Mbps internet never looked so good or felt so comfortable.

So, looks like I’m going to start filling up my blogs once again. Hope there’s at least a few of you still reading.
